Greetings. These are pictures from my trip to Scotland, specifically Edinburgh, St Andrews, and Stirling. While in Scotland I was able to visit a number of famous monuments and sites. We stayed in Stirling, outside of Edinburgh at the Stirling Highland Hotel. It was a beautiful hotel full of Scottish charm and history. It was right around the corner from Stirling Castle and not far from the site of the Battle of Bannockburn, where Robert the Bruce defeated the English to gain Scottish independence in 1314. We also visited Edinburgh and saw a Scottish couple getting married. We visited the Royal Botanical Gardens and also had a tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia, which was amazing since the night before it had hosted the Rehearsal Dinner for Zara Phillips (grand-daughter of Queen Elizabeth II) and Mike Tindall. In addition, we visited St. Andrews, where Prince William met Kate Middleton while at St. Andrews University.
